It has a more modern, sleeker profile. The HD picture quality and recording abilities are first rate. It has built-in DECA networking, to facilitate DirecTV's new Whole Home DVR Service that allows viewing of recordings made on other compatible DVRs in other parts of the house, without running any extra network cables.."
